The Department says that periodic traffic stoppages are scheduled on the Taconic State Parkway northbound and southbound between Exit 25 (Peekskill Hollow Road) and Exit 31 (Route 301) in the Putnam County town of Putnam Valley.

The stoppages will occur weekly beginning Wednesday, Oct. 30 until further notice between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting.

During this time, motorists are advised to use extra caution when traveling through work zones and pay particular attention to New York State’s “Move Over” laws.

Additionally, motorists should anticipate delays and seek alternate routes where possible, the NYSDOT says.
